He had the good fortune to join Iron Mountain when it had approximately 300 employees and played a key role as it exploded into a global enterprise of 20,000 people – emerging as the dominant player in the information management industry. At Iron Mountain, Alan held positions of General Manager, Territory Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Managing Director of the firm’s Consulting division.

Alan is widely respected for his abilities in building and growing customer relationships; mentoring, coaching, and developing employees; and leading both strategic and tactical change. He built and maintained strong relationships with companies such as Liberty Mutual, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, CIGNA, The Hartford, Citizens Bank, State Street, Nationwide, FM Global, and numerous hospitals, law firms, pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers, distributors, and retail organizations. His work in the area of client relationship management was considered among the absolute best at Iron Mountain.
